NWGC Announces 2019 Academic All-Conference Selections

PROVIDENCE, RI – While it was a successful fall season on the course, the student-athletes in the Northeast Women’s Golf Conference are equally as talented in the classroom. Tuesday the league announced its inaugural NWGC Academic All-Conference Team.

To be eligible, student-athletes must have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and has reached sophomore athletic eligibility. In addition they must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution.

A total of 24 student-athletes from all 11 institutions were honored. Keuka College had the most recipients with five. Alexis Anastos (Johnson & Wales), Nicole Krause (Manhattanville) and Katie Goulet (Husson) had the distinction of earning all-conference honors both on the course and in the classroom.
